Back to school

Hello, we're officially back to school. My eldest was so excited to see his friends again. He had fun at school today. They made gingerbread man and other stuff. He's excited for tomorrow's "show and tell" activity. He was asked to bring anything he liked to share with his classmates. While my eldest went to school, I had a wonderful time with my youngest. He loves it when we can have "just him and Mummy" time. Today we went to the park.

We had our snack in the park. We read books.

We enjoyed watching the lake and the trees.

And we enjoyed watching birds around the lake.

Yesterday, I blogged about us learning poems and plays. After school hours, the three of us went to the park to read poems.

My eldest read "The Swing" by Robert Louis Stevenson.

The Swing
by Robert Louis Stevenson

How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside ---

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown---
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

I read it again and again as he swing up high and we discussed what the poem was all about.

These were some of the things we did today. Hopefully they will provide good memories for my children when they grow up.

Till next time. I hope you had a lovely day too :)
