I'm grateful for feeling better.

Hello there my friends, I'm so grateful for today. I'm feeling better now, thank goodness. I've always known that health is wealth- but today, being a Mum, I had a better understanding of how important it is to be healthy. When I was young I liked to be sick sometimes, because my Mother would look after my needs and I'd get special treatment. But when we become mothers ourselves, each day is precious- so being sick has no place in our schedule. Today we read a few books. Here's our reading;

We went to the library last Saturday, and my Eldest wanted to borrow, "Colour Source Book";

And being a mother, I was concerned that the book might not be ideal for little children, (because aside from it being a thick book, I thought it would not be interesting to him), and would just add weight to my library bag . But he insisted, so I let him have it as long as he would use it. I found out today that he had been reading it, and studying about colors and shades. I was quite surprised that he can now segregate the color yellow from, corn, saffron, gold and etc. Lesson learned: We should not undestimate our children's capacity to learn.

We wanted to know who else had been busy working today aside from our Daddy, so went out to explore our backyard.

 Here were some little fellows.
Two busy bees collecting nectar.

Here's another one.

And a caterpilar who was eating leaves.

My oldest was telling me all about wood sorrel. Which I would have probably said, (mistakenly), was clover.

My Eldest spent most of his time writing and coloring.

This drawing caught my attention.

He drew his little brother and he used an apostrophe after the name- signifying a possessive noun.

These were my great joys for today.
That's all for now my friends. Till next time.
