Making our Monday memorable.

Hello there my friends, Monday is one of my favorite day, I guess it's because we had our rest the day before which was Sunday so we our body and mind were well rested, and also we can have family home evening. Our reading for today were;

The idea of letting my children help me with the cooking, came to my mind today. I personally think it will boast their confidence if they're ask to cook oneday. Hey,  I was pondering on     it while was washing    dishes.The funny thing is that; I'm productive when I'm doing my dishes, because I can always come up of something new to try. So my kids helped me cook today. I don't mind if they get messy  or the floor get messy at all. Mess is good, it means we did something.

 Manners and etiquette is this week's lesson. And we obviously has a lot to improve  in these areas.

Today, we went to the library and had a discussion about how we should behave inside the library.

My eldest returned the book properly.

Library is for reading and being quite.

And our favorite part of  the day was our family home evening. Our lesson was about "I have feelings". We discussed about the parable of 'The Lost Son". We also discussed that it is normal to feel angry and how should we react to it. And that our reaction is in our control. We can still be kind to someone even when we are frustrated at what they did.

The Prodial Son play
A certain man had two sons.

The youngest asked for his inheritance and spent it all. He went back to his father and ask for forgiveness. His father welcomed him back, gave his son a party.

When the older son came home from the field. He heard the news. He was angry and would not go in.

Literally he was not acting here. He was really angry because his younger brother has all the pretend jewellry and attention.

His father explained to him everything, and that he too can have his reward.

Our treats for FHE

That's all for Monday. Till tomorrow. :)
